Emily, a final-year interior design student’s life, turned upside-down when she was diagnosed with a stage 3 brain tumor in 2017.

Sharing her hair loss ordeal, she said, “Back in 2017, I was diagnosed with a stage three brain tumor. I underwent surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. So, from that, I ended up losing hair. And from the radiation, I now have alopecia. So my hair is growing, but it's very thin, and it's kind of patchy on my head.”

Although Emily is now cancer-free and has completed all her treatments, her hair is sparse, which made her try hair loss products. “Right now, I'm just basically using oils and stuff to massage into my head to, hopefully, work. But, so far, I don't know if it's helping that much because of my radiation and stuff. It's pretty aggressive with certain areas of my head, so it's going to take time. But right now, I haven't seen much improvement,” she said.
