Frequently Asked Questions

We design each model with a specific reason to solve a specific concern from the client. There are different pros and cons to each material and technique. The one that you find meets the specific needs you have will be the best unit for you. If you would like guidance in finding which unit will match your needs the closest, we offer a video consultation service with one of our hair system specialists.

Choosing the right hair system can seem daunting at first, but we are here to help make the process as easy for you as possible. The main things to consider when looking for a hairpiece are whether you want it to be more durable, or to look more natural. Durability usually comes at the cost of naturalness, and vice versa. Once you have decided which is the priority for you, you can start looking at the different base types to match what you want. If you would like guidance in finding which unit will match your needs the closest, we offer a video consultation service with one of our hair system specialists.

Firstly, thank you for choosing us as your new hair system provider! We are sure you will be happy with our reliable and high quality services.
If you are not sure what hair system you have, we offer video consultation services to help guide you and identify what type of hair piece you have.

The durability of our hair systems will depend on several factors. The type of hair, base material, your lifestyle, and how you maintain the hairpiece will all affect how long it will last. Check the product details table on a specific item's page if you would like to know the estimated durability of that hair unit.

Yes, all of our hair systems are made with 100% real human hair. The only exception is our grey hair, which is Japanese Kanekalon synthetic fibre. If you would like the grey percentage to be human hair, you can order a customised stock unit and specify this requirement.

Our Basic models are a replica of their standard versions only at a more affordable price. This is because they are made in a different factory than the standard models, making their processing times faster and cheaper without compromising quality.

Each of our basic models meets the industry standards of hair units. So you get a good-quality hairpiece at a lower cost, making it more accessible to anyone who wants a good hair system.

The estimated completion time for a custom order is between 8-12 weeks (women's 10-14 weeks) if you have not chosen guaranteed delivery. If you would like guaranteed delivery in 8 weeks, we have a custom rush program for $50.00 without samples or $65.00 with samples. If you pay for guaranteed delivery and it does not arrive in time, the rush fee will be fully refunded, no questions asked.

We recommend not washing it too frequently, as it can cause shedding to occur faster. Generally once a week should be enough. It is also recommended to use shampoos and conditioners that are safe for use on hair systems, which we have available for you to purchase here .

Yes, you can shower, go to the gym, and swim with a hair system on! However, you will need to take some precautions. Firstly, you should always wait 24-48 hours after installing the hair system before getting it wet or doing physical activity. The adhesives need time to bond properly, which they cannot do if they are exposed to significant moisture. It is also important to consider the base material of your hair system, as the full skin hair systems can cause much more sweating than their more breathable counterparts. If you would like the full details about swimming and working out with a wig or system on, you can read our blog post about it.

Remy hair is human hair used for hair systems and wigs that still has the cuticle intact when it is collected. This gives the hair a smoother, healthier appearance.

Colour 1, 11B, 1B, 2, 2ASH, 3, 3ASH, 4, 4ASH, 5, 5R, 6 and 6R.

The BF hair units come with pre-bleached knots in the 1" front hairline to give the unit a more natural looking hairline, while the standard units do not come with the bleached front.

Soft Indian Remy hair that is similar to European hair in texture is what our PRO units are made with. They are also made with Nano-tech knotting and come with pre-bleached knots in the 1" front hairline. The standard units are made with regular Indian Remy hair and are not made with Nano-tech knotting nor do they come with the bleached front.

1 Mono base hair system: M108 .
4 full lace base hair system: M103 , M105 , M110 , M115 .

Scallop fronts are built to trick the eye into not seeing a straight line going across the front hairline. Most clients feel that having a straight edge looks unnatural. Therefore, the bump-like appearance ("scallop front") allows the hair to follow that pattern and takes away from having a straight line appear across the forehead.

Skin base units: M101 , M111 , HD111 , M158 (Skin with 4 panels of French lace at the centre), M151 (Lace front - Dark root)
Mono base units: M112 , M102
Lace base units: M162 (V-loop skin front, rest is Swiss lace), HD105 , M106 , M106L , M116S , M116M , M116L , M107

Women's Toppers and Wigs

The P44 and P46 . They are breathable units with a Mono silk top, have the right base size for women, and they both have Medium density.

The P45 and P44 have a shallow contour.

Since these hair systems use 100% human hair, the simple answer to this is that yes, they can have the same treatments done to them as the hair on your head. However, it is important to remember that the hair in a hair system is much more fragile than natural hair would be, so processes that involve chemically treating the hair in any way can cause shedding and dry the hair out. It is best to have a professional who is experienced with hair systems and hairpieces do these treatments to avoid excess damage.

Yes, they can be parted in any direction, as currently all of our ladies toppers and wigs are considered “freestyle”.

While we cannot style and cut it for you, you can definitely bring your hair system to a local salon to get bangs cut into it, provided the hair system has long enough hair.

While we can do grey for custom orders, currently our women's stock hair units come in solid colours only.

Extensions

How well the hair extensions are maintained will determine their life span. Generally, the 4A hair extensions can last about 3-6 months while the 5A/6A extensions can last about 4-12 months.

We usually recommend 100-150 grams for a full head installation, depending on how much volume you want. Clip in hair extensions are 100 grams per pack, so for a full head we recommend about 1-2 packs.

You should replace tapes on the Tape In hair extensions generally every 4-8 weeks, depending on the client.

Walker's Lace Release and KP Pro Solvent can be recommended.

You can use our Keratin Bond Remover (U Tip/Nail Tip Hair Extension Bond Remover). Do not use the Extension Release or KP Pro Solvent as they will not work for U Tip/Nail Tip hair extensions.

5A Quality Hair - Extension Ring
Regular Indian Hair - Women's Colour Ring
Premium Chinese Hair - Allure Colour Ring

The 5A/6A quality hair extensions are made with premium Chinese hair as opposed to the 3A/4A hair extensions, which are made with a mix of Indian/Chinese hair, so the colours are a little off, notably in the blondes. The colour ring best matches the 5A/6A grade extensions.

Clients could apply a hairpiece tape that is safe for lace hair systems directly to the unit. The glue will then be applied to the side of the tape which will stick to the scalp.

Water-based glues, like Ghost Bond or Safe Grip . Use a brush to apply a thin, even layer and let it dry for exactly seven minutes - dries clear.

Ghost Bond is a water-based glue meaning it can freeze if placed in low temperature areas. It should always be stored at temperatures above its freezing point for this reason. This is also why we advise against having Ghost Bond delivered in the winter time if you live in a cold area, as the Ghost Bond might freeze and crack the bottle.

You should avoid putting acrylic based glues on lace or monofilament material as it can cause shedding and break down the hair.

General

Expected handling times for all items are displayed on our website.
